Silvana has had 33 years’ experience as a professional social worker working in a variety of Social Work and Leadership roles for the Department of Human Services, Centrelink. Key roles included professional leadership and management, strategic and business planning, budget management, ensuring quality client outcomes and staff support and supervision.

She retired in 2017 to pursue other personal interests and passions, the most treasured being able to spend quality time with her sister Evie, who had been a long-term resident at Nulsen.  During this time, she had the opportunity to observe first-hand the wonderful care and support that was provided by the committed and passionate team at Nulsen, for which her family will forever be grateful.

Silvana’s contribution to the Board is her way of giving back to Nulsen for all the wonderful care shown to her sister in the years she lived there, empowering her to live her best life.
