The Scheduling Assistant position provides scheduling and administrativesupport to the Specialist Services team which includes Nulsen Therapy andNursing.

You will be responsible for:

Administration:

  • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of appointmentsfor therapy and nursing clinicians
  • Maximise the services participants can access withtheir funding, whilst optimising staff hours and cost
  • Liaise with clients to schedule services required
  • Support clinicians to optimise the provision ofservices through scheduling
  • Resolve scheduling matters with all stakeholders asthey arise

Information systems and records management:

  •  Work as a part of the Specialist Services team byproviding a wide range of administrative support
  • Assist in the maintenance of an accurate asset register of participant-owned assistive technology equipment including a history of repairs and servicing
  • Update Nulsen Therapy and Nursing templates in TRIM and KAPISH
  •  Update Client Management System (Lumary) withSpecialist Services’ related information 
  • Ensure all requirements in relation to a participant entry,movement, death or discharge are completed in a timely manner and that allrelevant databases are updated accordingly

Essential Criteria

  • Experience and skills in the application of a range ofsoftware including Microsoft Office, databases and electronic records managementsystems or willingness to develop these skills.
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with astrong customer service orientation.
  •  Accurate and efficient keyboard and data entry skill
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to manageand prioritise own workload, demonstrate initiative and work under pressure tomeet deadlines.
  • Experience in working as part of a team in aservice delivery environment.
  • Availability to increase hours for annual leave coverage for therapy admin team. 

You will also need the following compliances:

  • Australian driver’s license
  • Australian working rights
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check

We are looking for a passionate Clinical Trainer & Assessor to join our team part-time (3 days or 4 days per week).

About you

Join our team as our casual Clinical Trainer & Assessor, where you will be working alongside our close-knit Learning & Development team. Your focus will be on delivering, developing, and facilitating all clinical and other compliance-based learning and training programs to our support workers.

A truly rewarding position to empower, coach and develop our employees; to ensure they are equipped with the best knowledge and skills to support our residents.

Some of your responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical training and education workshops to groups of adult learners in a range of formats including our Nulsen resident homes, classroom, video conference and on the job training.
  • Creating clinical training programs that are aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate and conduct work-based competency assessments.
  • Review, develop and maintain clinical training resources ensuring training delivery incorporates different styles of training and techniques, including e-Learning, tutorials, classroom, residential homes, coaching or on the job training.
  • Contribute to the ongoing clinical training needs analysis by collecting feedback and providing solutions where needed.
  • Engage with industry to ensure training practices are relevant and up to date.
  • Deliver training in accordance with NDIS and industry standards.
  • Record and maintain training records for all training sessions.

Essential:

  • Valid AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Current qualification in Training & Assessment (Cert IV or above)
  • Experience within the disability and/or community services sector.
  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • NDIS Worker’s Screening Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Working rights in Australia
