Justin O’Meara Smith joined Nulsen as Chief Executive Officer on July 2026, bringing extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for people with disability.

A highly respected leader in the disability sector, Justin previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Interchange, where he led the organisation through a period of growth, including the successful acquisition and integration of Diversity South. He has also been a passionate advocate for people with disability and the broader sector, serving as Chair of National Disability Services (NDS) WA and as a national member of the NDS Board.

Justin is recognised for his values-led approach to leadership, commitment to person-centred service delivery, and ability to build strong, inclusive organisational cultures. His leadership is guided by integrity, collaboration and a genuine focus on ensuring people are supported to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

As CEO, Justin works closely with residents, families, employees and stakeholders to continue Nulsen’s more than 70-year legacy of delivering high-quality services and empowering people with disability to live their best life.
