The Nulsen Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding work and dedication of our people across the organisation.
In this second round, we had some outstanding nominations, and the judging panel had a tough ask! That said, two individuals truly stood out.

The Creating a Good Life Award is for supporting residents to achieve valued social roles in their community.
Ravina Devi
Ravina provides exceptional weekly aqua support for JP after a fall that significantly impacted her mobility and confidence. Through her calm, patient approach and strong attention to detail, Ravina has played a vital role in rebuilding JP’s confidence and ability in the water.
Her communication is outstanding – consistently reporting progress, concerns and observations to the therapist and the team to enable timely program adjustments to ensure JP’s safety while supporting her continued progress.
Thanks to Ravina’s encouragement and understanding of JP’s needs and vulnerabilities, JP has made remarkable gains – now demonstrating increased confidence with her standing hoist and beginning to weight bear during transfers. This is a significant achievement.
Ravina’s professionalism, empathy and ability to recognise and respond to JP’s fears have had a meaningful impact on JP’s mobility, mood and independence. She is a valued team member and a strong advocate for the people she supports.
Her contributions are recognised by the Nulsen Therapy team, and her updates are highly valued by JP’s family, who have seen the positive changes firsthand.
Ravina is a quiet achiever, an excellent team player and a role model for others. She is truly deserving of recognition in receiving the Creating a Good Life Award. ⭐
Future Leader Award
The Future Leader Award is for an individual who displays the hallmarks of great leadership.
Lucas Corby
Lucas is recognised as a strong emerging leader who consistently demonstrates the ability to build trust, support others, and deliver positive outcomes for both residents and colleagues.
As a Support Worker, Lucas formed genuine, respectful connections that create a sense of safety and stability, particularly during times of change. He empowered residents to build confidence and independence through his patient, practical approach, earning their ongoing trust.
In his current role with the Rostering team, he leads with calm, solution-focused thinking, ensuring the right people are in place to maintain quality care and prioritise resident wellbeing. He also strengthens team culture by supporting his colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.
Recognised for his strong potential, Lucas is readily taking on more responsibility and developing his leadership skills within the team.
Lucas leads by example and is highly deserving of the Future Leader Award 2026. ⭐
