Congratulations to Roberta and Sali!
We are proud to announce the winners of Nulsen’s final round of the 2026 Nulsen Awards: Roberta Kemp and Sali Syed Mohammed!
In the final round of 2026 Nulsen Award, we saw over 20 nominees for both awards. It really highlighted the amazing people across Nulsen that have showed their dedication, passion, and made incredible impact to the lives they’ve touched.
It had really made selecting winners no easy task, however we would like to also acknowledge some wonderful people in the honourable mentions below.
Creating a Good Life Award | R4
The Creating a Good Life Award is for supporting residents to achieve valued social roles in their community.
Bobby Kemp
Roberta, also known as Bobby by her friends and team, is a Senior Registered Nurse at Nulsen Therapy who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure people can live life on their own terms, even when they are facing complex health challenges.
Recently, Bobby played a key role in supporting a resident to return home following an extended hospital stay and transition to palliative care in a familiar and comfortable environment. Working closely with the hospital team, family members, and support workers, Bobby coordinated a comprehensive care plan that balanced complex clinical needs with the resident’s personal wishes to be at home. With her support, the resident was able to return to the comforts of home and be surrounded by the people they love, trust, and enjoy being around.
Bobby ensured the resident’s voice remains at the centre of every decision, supporting their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Congratulations for winning this award, you are well-deserving of it!
Affiliate Excellence Award
The Affiliate Excellence Award is for a support worker who shines brightly in their role as a resident affiliate.

Sali Syed Mohammed
For the past five years, Sali has been a someone that focused on making a positive difference in the lives of the residents he supports.
He was nominated for the exceptional support he provides Brian as his affiliate. But on top of that, Sali also goes the extra mile to empower Brian and his fellow housemates to achieve valued social roles in their community, as well as independence in their daily lives.
Through Sali’s encouragement and guidance, Brian and his housemates have become active contributors to the house garden, learning practical horticulture skills, as well as becoming active members of the community. What began as activities and hobbies has grown into something that has provided Brian and his housemates purpose, strengthening their sense of belonging.
Sali also always pushes residents to explore new experiences and build independence in everyday tasks. Whether this is supporting them to prepare their meals, participate in household routines, or make choices about their day, he’s always patient and provides the encouragement they need to grow their confidence.
Thank you Sali for the amazing work you do and for the care you give to the people you support. Nulsen is very lucky to have you part of the Nulsen Family
