Yesterday, Leigh and John with support worker Ab joined a coffee-fueled morning tea at Five Senses Coffee, with the Five Senses team and the Blokes and Their Long Macs crew.

They were there to celebrate the success of the now sold-out Steady On coffee blend, created in memory of volunteer firefighter and coffee-lover Harry Stead, who tragically lost his life on Boxing Day 2023.

The Nulsen team would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and admiration to Blokes and Their Long Macs, and Five Senses Coffee, for their amazing work in supporting Nulsen.

The creation of the Steady On blend is a beautiful testament to Harry Stead and the impact he had on those around him. The work from ‘Blokes And Their Long Macs’ in creating the blend with Five Senses is an admirable demonstration of the love and respect Harry continues to inspire, and a contribution in a truly meaningful way to his legacy.

Through Five Senses Coffee, Blokes and Their Long Macs, and the event with Someday Coffee in January this year, they raised more than $5,041 for Nulsen through Steady On. These funds will go towards our Wishes Program, which provides residents at Nulsen with opportunities, experiences and items they would not otherwise have had access to due to limitations in their NDIS funding.

Their support directly allows people with disability to access some of the good things of life, contributing to their ongoing wellbeing.

Thank you again to Blokes and Their Long Macs and Five Senses Coffee for your support.
